Eric Carle is an amazing author. I actually own a few of these books. Some of my favorites are “The Very Hungary Caterpillar, “Baby Bear Baby Bear What Do You See? and “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?. These are fantastic books to read to the little ones. They really get into the books. In one of my classroom observations I was looking at the books the teacher had for her students to read and a lot of the books were Eric Carle’s books.
Marc Brown is the author of the “Arthur” books. As a kid I was always into the show Arthur on PBS. Little did I know that there were books out based on the TV Show. I have a collection of “Arthur” books, which really do come in handy with lessons. This is an excellent series of books and as a child I know that I really got into reading them and watching it on TV.
