My senior year in High School part of our research project was to read “The World Is Flat” by Tomas Friedman. Honestly I never finished reading the book. I had gotten from my brothers friend the book on CD’s so I listened to it. The book talked about how we are in an economic disadvantage. It also explained how some McDonalds the person in the store it is being taken in for example Africa isn’t taking the orders. They are having foreign people take over stuff Americans can do. This book makes you open your eyes and see that a lot of our stuff is being sent off and being done.

One of my childhood favorites is “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. My mother used to read this to me every night when I was a child. The author wrote this book for his two babies that died at birth. This book is actually a song. Whenever I have children I want to read this to them as well. This was a good way as a parent to grow a bond with your child.
