Thoughts about Chapter one.

So i just got my book today and have read part of chapter one I am already enjoying it.  I like how you get introduced to different authors.  The first one that came up was Jack Prelutsky.  After reading some of the titles of the books he has written I can say that I have read two of them and they were amazing books.  What I have enjoyed most about what I have read is how much detail they put into the information.  I have learned that literature is all around classrooms and is a big part of a child's daily routine at school.  Children's books are a part of children's curriculum now.  I also enjoy how they tell us their main points of the book is to try to build the foundation and to teach the new educators new and effective ways to introduce students to books.  Another neat thing I discovered was the section called terms for teachers.  Here they have terms and they give the definition to them.  I found this really helpful.  I'm actually really looking forward to finishing up the rest of chapter one.  I think I am finally figuring out all this blogging stuff after all!
